WCAC Nigeria in collaboration with international donors and supporters is looking to expand its operations to all the states and local government in Nigeria in other to reach out to more women empowering them with skills and financially. As a pilot project, the program is to run for 2 years with the possibility of extending it after being reviewed by our international donors.</p>
<p>WCAC Nigeria in conjunction with LHAMENUS Advocacy and Global Health Initiative invites applications from interested and qualified candidates to fill up the following vacant positions;</p>
<ol>
<li><strong>State      Program Coordinators</strong> (36 states) – <em>Permanent      appointment.</em></li>
</ol>
<p>-Must be a woman not below 35yrs old, with at least a PGD or M.Sc.</p>
<p>-Must be available to travel within the country and beyond for seminars and training.</p>
<p>-Must be fluent on at least one of the local languages in the state she wish to serve. <strong></strong></p>
<p><strong> 2. Deputy      State Program Coordinators</strong> (36 states) – <em>Permanent appointment.</em></p>
<p>-Must be a woman not below 35yrs old, with at least a PGD or M.Sc.</p>
<p>-Must be available to travel within the country and beyond for seminars and training.</p>
<p>-Must be fluent in at least one of the local languages in the state she wish to serve. <strong></strong></p>
<p><strong>3.  L.G.C      Program Coordinators</strong> (1 per L.Gs) – 2 years renewable      contract.</p>
<p>-Must be a woman not below 30yrs. old, with at least a HND or B.Sc.</p>
<p>-Must be available to travel within the country for seminars and training.</p>
<p>-Must be fluent in at least one of the local languages in the local government council she wish to serve. <strong></strong></p>
<p><strong>4.  Community      Mobilization Officer</strong> (3 per L.Gs) – <em>2 years      renewable contract.</em></p>
<p>-Can be either men or women, above 25yrs old with at least a HND or B.Sc.</p>
<p>-Must be available to travel within the country for seminars and training.</p>
<p>-Must be fluent in at least one of the local languages in the local government council. <strong></strong></p>
<p><strong>5.  Evaluation      and Monitoring Officer</strong> (1 per L.Gs) – 2 years renewable      contract.</p>
<p>-Can be either men or women, above 25yrs old with at least a HND or B.Sc.</p>
<p>-Must be available to travel within the country for seminars and training.</p>
<p>-Must be fluent in at least one of the local languages in the local government council.</p>
<p><strong>6.  Support Officers</strong> (3 per L.Gs) – <em>2 years renewable contract.</em></p>
<p>-Can be either men or women, above 20yrs. old with at least a Diploma.</p>
<p><strong>7. Truck Drivers</strong> (10) –<em>2 year’s renewable contract.</em></p>
<p>-Must be a Man above 35 years, with a class D driver’s license and 5 years driving experience.</p>
<p>- Should be well traveled around the country and familiar with Nigerian roads and road networks.</p>
<p><strong>8.  Car Drivers</strong> (2 per state and 1 per LG)-<em>2 years renewable contract.</em></p>
<p>-Must be a Man above 30 years, with a class C driver’s license and 5 years driving experience.</p>
<p>- Should be well traveled around the country and familiar with Nigerian roads and road networks.</p>

<p>- Appointments will be based only on candidates’ performance on the test that will be written after the training.</p>
<p>- Double application will amount to automatic disqualification, but applicant can indicate that they are willing to take up other position or state/local government appointment not applied for.</p>

<p>In January 2007, The Secretariat of the Economic  Community of West African States (ECOWAS) with its headquarters in  Abuja was transformed into a Commission headed by a President, assisted  by a Vice President and seven Commissioners.</p>
<p>As part of this  renewal process, ECOWAS is pre-occupied with the implementation of  critical and strategic programmes and wishes to recruit qualified and  capable individuals into the following professional and general  positions.<br />

<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Background/General Description</span></strong>:</p>
<p>In view of the increased demand for Procurement oversight and capacity building in Liberia, the World Bank invites applications from qualified candidates, with proven integrity and strong track record. One top candidate will be appointed on a Local Appointment basis for a period of two years (subject to renewal based on good performance and need)</p>
<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Duties And Accountabilities</span></strong>:</p>
<p>The Procurement Specialist will:</p>
<p>*.         Provide procurement support during project preparation and implementation.</p>
<p>*..        Carry out the prior review of procurement documents (including procurement plans, request for proposals, bid documents, evaluation reports and contracts) and prepare responses to task team leaders.</p>
<p>*          In consultation with the World Bank’s procurement team provide advice to the task team leaders on how to resolve difficult procurement issues.</p>
<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Selection Criteria:</span></strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;"> </span></strong></p>
<p>*.         The successful candidate should have the following qualifications:</p>
<p>(A)       Hold a Masters degree with a major in a relevant discipline e.g. Procurement, Finance, Public Administration, Law, Business or Commerce, Engineering, Science, or other relevant Technical field.</p>
<p>(B)       Have a minimum of 5 years of direct relevant procurement experience in the public or private sector.</p>
<p>(C)       Have at least 3 years of relevant Procurement work experience under World Bank or other international financial institutions (IFI) funded projects.</p>
<p>(D)       Demonstrate good knowledge of all concepts, principles and approaches in Procurement.</p>
<p>(E)       Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and successful team work</p>
